Community guidelines
Last updated September 27, 2026
Community levels are made by players, for players. Anyone signed in to the
level editor can make one. Every level gets a code (like ABCD-EFGH-IJKL) that
anyone can play it with right away, and a person on our team reviews it before it shows in the game's Community
levels list. These guidelines say what we look for, and what gets a level or a player removed.
Make levels people enjoy
- Make it beatable. You have to clear your level in Playtest, with every star, before you can submit it.
- Give it a name and a description that say what it's about, and tags that fit.
- Make it your own. Take ideas from anywhere, but build the level yourself.
Not allowed
A level breaking any of these is rejected or taken down, and its creator may be banned:
- Offensive content in the name, the description or the level itself (including shapes drawn with walls): slurs, hate, harassment, sexual content, threats, or content that targets real people or groups.
- Personal information, yours or anyone else's: real names, phone numbers, addresses, social media handles.
- Ads and links, or using a level to promote anything outside the game.
- Spam: many near-identical levels, empty or placeholder levels, or levels made only to collect votes.
- Copies of campaign levels or of other players' levels, even with small changes.
- Broken on purpose: levels that can only be cleared through a bug, or that trick players into something unfair.
- Misleading names, descriptions or tags.
- Pretending to be the game, its team, or another player.
Voting and reporting
- Like or dislike a level for what it is, after playing it. Don't organize votes for or against levels.
- Report a level when it breaks these guidelines, and pick the reason that fits. A person reads every report; reports never remove a level on their own.
- Reporting levels that break no rule, over and over, counts as abuse.
What happens when something breaks the rules
- Rejected: the level is hidden from everyone but you, with a note saying why. You can fix it and submit the fixed copy as a new level.
- Taken down: nobody can play the level any more, you included, and its code stops working.
- Banned: you can still play the game, but you can no longer make levels, vote or report. We may also take down the levels you made.
We usually start with a rejection and a note. Serious or repeated cases, such as hateful or sexual content, personal information or ban evasion, go straight to a ban. Decisions are made by people, and we keep a record of each one. If you think we got it wrong, tell us on Discord.
Good to know
- Once submitted, a level can't be changed. To fix something, duplicate it in the editor and submit the copy: it gets a new code.
- You can delete a level you submitted within a day of submitting it, as long as no more than 10 players have cleared it.
- You can have at most 3 levels waiting for review at a time.
- Community levels don't have coins, and clearing them doesn't earn any.
- By submitting a level you accept the Terms of Use, which include what the game may do with your level.
